Is the open-source edition limited?
No. Community is the whole product. Cloud and Enterprise add operations, support and commitments.
Where does my data live?
In your warehouses. Northstar queries datasets where they are. Document collections keep an index of the PDF text so that Chat can search them.
Which AI does Northstar use?
AI features call a language model configured for your platform. Administrators turn each feature on or off, and the docs list what each one sends.
Which warehouses are supported?
PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, Google BigQuery and Microsoft Fabric, plus Amazon S3, Google Drive, OneDrive and SharePoint for files.
